Welcome

More About Jesus

To learn more about Jesus, we need to look into his holy word, the Bible. We can study his word to learn what a person needs in order to receive eternal salvation, how to serve him in this world, and how to honor and glorify him.

We invite you to visit with us in our services. Visitors are always welcome, and we encourage open discussion in our Bible studies. Come and learn with us the truth from God’s word.

Seeking the Lord’s Will for a Pastor

Our former pastor retired (as of March 2019) after 61 years in the ministry and 28 years as pastor of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. We are seeking the man God has selected to serve as our pastor, a man who meets the qualifications in I Timothy 3:1-7, who will “speak thou the things which become sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1), and who is prepared to stand with us for the faith once delivered to the saints and defend against the false teachings of the world.

If the Lord is dealing with you to accept this good work, then please contact us.

Meanwhile, our church continues to meet and serve to carry out the work of the Lord according to his word.

In Loving Memory

Brother Jim Brasseal (May 1, 1939 - December 13, 2021) surrendered to the Lord’s call to preach in 1958. He received his Doctorate of Theology from Gulf Coast Baptist Seminary in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and later worked as a missionary in Mississippi and Nebraska for a total of 18 years. He served as the vice president of the Gulf Coast Baptist Seminary from 1989 to 1996. He has pastored Landmark Missionary Baptist Church two different times. The first was from March 1979 until August 1985, and the second was from March of 1996 until his retirement on March 24, 2019 after more than 61 years in the ministry. He now lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Brother Jim passed away and was promoted to glory on Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home at the age of 82.
